NextGen Athletics is  more than a name - it´s

a mission to giude the champions of tomorrow.

Why Swimming?

Swimming is one of the most complete and joint-friendly sports available, especially for children. It trains the entire body—from shoulders to core to legs—while improving cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and strength. Moreover, swimming supports healthy growth, builds coordination, and improves posture. Because the water environment reduces impact on the joints, it is ideal for children during their growth phase.

Swimming also develops mental resilience and confidence. As children experience their own progress in the water—faster times, improved technique, greater stamina—they naturally build self-esteem and a stronger sense of self.

Swimming is also an Olympic sport and plays a key role in many school programs across Thailand. At NextGen, we offer structured swim coaching that not only supports physical health and discipline but also creates real opportunities—such as achieving athletic scholarships for middle and high school education.

Group Swim Training

Our group sessions take place three times a week:

🗓 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
🕔 17:00
📍 Silk Road Place Pool, Pattaya

Children will learn all four swim disciplines:

  • Freestyle (Front Crawl)

  • Breaststroke

  • Backstroke

  • Butterfly

Training sessions focus on:

  • Technical precision

  • Endurance and breath control

  • Flexibility and mobility

  • Core and shoulder and leg strength

  • Coordination and rhythm

  • Mental focus and confidence

1-on-1 Swim Coaching

For children who want personalized attention or have specific goals, we offer individual swim coaching. These sessions can be scheduled:

  • At Silk Road Place

  • At the client’s private pool

  • Or at a preferred swim facility

Each program is customized to the child’s current ability and future goals—including competition preparation and scholarship pathways.

Let your child grow stronger—in the water and beyond.

About NextGen - Where Passion Meets Purpose

ChatGPT Image 19. Juli 2025, 12_40_35.png

NextGen Athletics is  more than a name - it´s

a mission to giude the champions of tomorrow.

At NextGen Athletics Academy, we believe that true champions are not just built through discipline, but through inner clarity, strong foundations, and genuine mentorship.

Founded by Pat Zie, a former competitive athlete turned holistic coach, NextGen was born from lived experience — not theory. Pat’s journey spans across track & field, Taekwondo, football, basketball, swimming, and later, bodybuilding and coaching. His childhood was marked by raw talent and drive, but often lacked the structured support that young athletes desperately need.

🏅 A Lifetime in Sports

As a child, Pat broke national records in long jump and was scouted early for men’s basketball teams due to his explosive athleticism. He played football at club level, trained in martial arts, and later competed in bodybuilding, ranking among the top junior athletes in Germany.

A knee injury shifted his path — but instead of breaking him, it opened the door to something greater. During his rehabilitation, Pat dove into nutrition, recovery science, and biomechanics. His passion for performance became a deeper calling: to help the next generation avoid the pitfalls he once faced.

He also trained in professional swimming, guided by a former European champion, where he honed not just skill — but discipline and flow. Every sport taught him something new — and now, that multidimensional experience flows directly into the heart of NextGen.

💡 More Than Just Training

NextGen Athletics is not just another training academy — it's a mission. A space where kids and teens receive the individualized attention, sport-specific coaching, and mental tools they truly need to grow — not only as athletes, but as confident, grounded human beings.

Whether your child dreams of excelling in football, martial arts, athletics, swimming, or basketball, we train with heart, structure, and soul.

“We Build Champions Inside Out.”
Because mindset, character, and resilience always win in the long run.
